A new Team-building day in the Arribes del Duero.
An unforgettable day spent enjoying time with our colleagues in a natural setting
Our first stop was in Moveros de Aliste, a lovely village in Zamora, where Paco and Mª Paz, experienced potters, kindly showed us their workshop, "Alfarería Pascual."
During the visit, they taught us in detail how they carry out this traditional craft, typical of the area, step by step, from the preparation of the raw material to the shaping and drying of the pieces.
Afterward, we saw the exhibition and the shop, featuring a multitude of pieces for gardening, decoration, and food service, such as their variety of casseroles, which we were sure to acquire, and the most spectacular item, the barbecue ovens.
Next, we took the Europarques EBI environmental cruise in the cross-border area of Spain and Portugal to enjoy the Arribes del Duero and its fauna and flora, such as the Griffon Vulture, the Golden Eagle, the Black Stork, the lichens, and the species we were able to observe under the microscope, including copepods, Daphnia, and Bosmina.
We had the pleasure of tasting the typical gastronomy of Miranda, such as bacalao à brás at O'Mirandês.
And we explored Miranda do Douro, including its streets, its views, its historic center, and its shops.
It was an unforgettable day with our colleagues, full of moments that we will always cherish.
